Dinner was typical Austria food including Wiener Schnitzel, green beans, potatoes and strudel for dessert.

We also heard from the Special Olympics Cheer Squad, he Head of the USA Delegation Chris Hahn, some of the corporate sponsors like Bank of America, the Department of Defense (who secured our flights) and ESPN. We met the anchor team that would lead the coverage in Austria including Dustin. We also got a shout out from Stephanie McMahon from ESPN.

During Chris’ welcome presentation, he presented all of the athletes and coaches by sport. It was really great to see Floor Hockey athletes and partners together. San Diego, California has fielded the traditional FH team (all athletes have intellectual disabilities). We were together with them in Vermont in December so it was especially great to reunite.
